WELCOME...

Years ago at the Kerrville Folk Festival, I was hangin' with my friends at CAMP ON THIS when this seed of a song idea surfaced. I found myself revisiting it from time to time, but never moved further than the two lines I had:

What's that floatin' in the swimmin' pool? Creepy dead bug, creepy dead bug
I can't wait to show it to the kids at school. Creepy dead bug, creepy dead bug

And there it sat.

Until this past October 2011 when I shared the idea with Amy Kucharik. We leaned into it and hours later we had a bona fide co-write on our hands. We immediately played it for some friends who all sang along. Then, I played it for my four-year old niece and SHE sang along. A friend with some recording equipment helped us out and we got the song posted online for you to download.
